Brookline team community events coming in 2016-2017

Our Brookline team has started planning our events for the 2016-2017 school year and we're excited to announce the next 4 community climate hour meetings:

September 23rd,

October 18th,

November 17th and

December 13th,

8-9am at the Koo Koo Cafe in Brookline Village - 7 Station Street.  We invite you to join us for an open discussion about our town's efforts to reduce our carbon footprint and our efforts as a team to help individuals to make changes.

In the Spring of 2017, we will participate in Climate Action Brookline's Climate Week.  Building up to Climate Week throughout the school year, we'll hold 2 community events: one on gas leaks in Brookline (can't smell them, can't see them, but they're there!) and the second on Brookline Shade Trees: how climate change affects our tress, Gas Leaks' damage to the trees and the lawsuit filed by the town against Eversource for the damage caused by escaping methane.

We are excited to share this information with you, to listen to world renowned speakers and gather as a community.  Stay in touch for more information and dates.
